HOW WE WORK WITH YOU

Step 1:

Our first step involves a response to your enquiry, we discuss your wants and needs to ensure we can provide you the service you require. This is the first opportunity for you to tell us about your project, and for us to ask you some detailed questions so we can get a good understanding of what you want to achieve. We can then book you in for a FREE consultation.

Step 2:

You will meet us on the building site to discuss your ideas and visions. This allows time for us to work through a step by step plan to turn your dreams into reality. This will include timeframes, council consents, budgeting, project management, materials and the level of investment you want to make so we understand your budget expectations from start to finish. Bring along your ideas, plans, sketches and magazines to help understand exactly what you want.

Step 3:

The consents you may need will be discussed, and a reputable architect will take the application(s) to the council approval stage. During this time, we can discuss project management, as well as everyone’s role in the process to help you familiarise yourself with the team.

Step 4:

This is one of the most important stages. You can either use your existing plans, or we can help you in the designing process to transfer all of your ideas onto a set of working drawings ready for submission.

Step 5:

Once you are happy with the drawings and documents from the architect, you will be provided with a detailed quote, as well as an estimate for any changes you had in mind. We will present this to you, explaining every part in detail and answering any questions you may have. At this stage, you will be presented with a job schedule and start and finishing dates.

Step 6:

You will be provided with a HIA building contract as well as our Gold Reserve Guarantee. Once you sign the contract and get all the drawings approved by the local authority, the project can finally start!

Step 7:

We will be communicating with you, your architect, and our sub-contractors on a regular basis, making sure your project is flowing in a timely and coordinated manner. The job schedule will be updated on a regular basis and will be available so that you are well informed of the progress. Daily job updates and photos will be uploaded each day so you can keep up to date with what’s happening onsite. Every Monday morning, we hold site toolbox talks to ensure everyone is on the same page, and more importantly, everyone stays safe.

Step 8:

It is our responsibility during the final inspection that we pass all relevant certificates to you for your application for the final occupation certificate. We will do a walk-through together to ensure you are 100% satisfied with the standard of workmanship. Your beautiful new build will be sparkling as we will provide a complimentary builders clean on completion. We will be very happy to hand over the keys, as well as a welcoming gift to show our appreciation.
